A case of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Abstract
|
|
|
A 11-years old girl, who had complaints of fever and arthralgia, was admitted.
On physical findings, there were facial erythema (Butterfly wings), Raynaud´s syndrome, alopecia, photosensitivity, oral ulceration, arthritis without deformation, heart murmur, hepatomegaly, peripheral neuritis, skin bullae and gangrenes.
On laboratory findings, there were anemia, leukopenia, proteinuria, hematuria, LE cells, hypocomplementemia (C3, C4), antinuclear antibody, immune complex (mainly IgG) on epidermaldermal junction and immune complex (IgG, IgM, C3) diffusely on renal glomerulus.
